Participants decide where to meet, such as a predetermined location or a park and ride lot.
UTA has a database of commuters that you can be matched with who are looking for a carpool. Go to utarideshare.com to create an account and your commuter profile. Sign the Participant Agreement under My Account.
Search for an existing carpool to join:
- Click the Commute Match tab at the top of the page.
- Choose Carpool from the list of commute options above the form
- Enter your origin, destination, and travel times
- Click Search
Below the map, you’ll see if there are any existing groups commuting at the same time and place as you. If there are no matches, you can sign up for match alerts to be notified when a carpool match is found.
